Black Friday Shopping!!!!!
Okay! Okay! I know we shouldn’t have done this. But we just can’t help……
又是一年一度的火雞日，當然還有最重要的……第二天的黑色星期五。
黑色星期五是美國全年最大的血拼日，許多店家都會拿出各種流血特價品吸引人氣。有些人會在一大早甚至前一晚就在商店外紮營，只為了搶購特價品。
但老實說，這兩年的deal真的愈來愈不吸引人了。
老公在兩個禮拜前就開始碎碎念說今年的黑色星期五特價deal不怎麼樣，看來看去居然沒有想買的東西。
當然，我們還是有想買的東西，只是都沒有特價。
老公想買的東西：
1. GPS 老公想買Garmin 高階機種 costco有一台特價US$299，老公嫌貴
2. PS3 主要是想要blu ray player……
3. PC 已經用了三、四年，想換新的desktop
4. Camera 老公想買Canon S3（已經要停產的）
5. Ipod Touch 每次經過Apple專賣店就覺得很誘人
老婆想買的東西:：
1. Apple的電腦 其實我不知道買來幹麼……
2. 好像都跟老公想買的一樣
最後在黑色星期五當天早上，老公一起床就說要去逛Costco拿免費食譜。
很快逛完一圈之後，我們決定去Palm Spring路上的 Desert Hill Outlet逛。
說到這家outlet，我們可是已經第三年感恩節到此報到。
前年我們在高速公路上，因為砂石車翻車，塞個半死才開到。
那年最大的成就，就是在人潮洶湧殺紅了眼的Tod’s，
搶了一個只要不到US$300的全皮包包。
還有不能忘記歐舒丹櫃台信用卡機太慢，
排了一個多小時結帳，走出店門時老公還跳起來大叫：We Made It!
引來全店排長龍的人群歡呼鼓譟。
去年的經驗就很恐怖了。
因為有些店午夜十二點就開門，我們決定午夜就到。
沒想到光下交流道就花了兩小時，
Coach門口更是人山人海。
逛了一圈沒有買什麼東西，
只有買了兩罐red bull連夜開車敗興而歸。
去年我們最想買的東西是Wii，
But that’s another long story……
今年本來就只想去逛逛，
我們在Mikasa看了很久的瓷器，
但是想到根本沒有用途，就打退堂鼓。
還有Tod’s，我看了幾個包包，
但每個打完折還是要US$500以上，
又沒有非常非常喜歡的，所以就算囉！
（反正我今年在巴黎已經買過LV了。）
最後我們買了一堆Crabtree & Evelyn的乳液和護手霜。
Timberland買了兩件老公的T恤，
J. Crew買了三件40% off的棉和cashmere混紡毛衣，
還在Crate & Barrel買了幾個小醬油碟子。
一共美金兩百出頭。
原本以為就這樣了。沒想到星期五晚上，老公上網看到Walmart星期六有PS3的deal。
80 G PS 3，加贈10片Blu Ray DVD，US$ 499。
Blu Ray DVD如果不喜歡，可以拿回去店裡退成store credit……

Below is what my hubby wrote on Slickdeals.net forum…. The Chinese part is added by me.
Just got back from Laguna Niguel, CA store. Learned about this deal last night, and kind of struggled between buying or not buying for a while. I’m not interested in returning the movie and do intend to keep them, so I was afraid of lousy selections as some mentioned. And I didn’t want to wait in line for hours. So my wife and I left home at 7:30 (it’s less than 10 minutes driving, and the store was supposed to open at 8:00). We thought it’s fine if we got it, it’s also fine if we didn’t.
It turned out the stored open at 7AM (holiday hours?). We needed to go to the ship to site pickup place to sign up on a sheet. They got 10 in stock and we were about the 5th in line. It’s very well organized. They collected all movies from the shelf, placed them orderly on the table , and only let one person on the signup sheet pick at a time.
We wanted 300, but the lady who arrived at 6:30 (before it’s open) got the last copy. That’s fine. I said to my wife that if we got 5 that we really wanted we would go ahead and buy it. My reasoning is that 5 discs cost about $100, if we only got three that we really want, I might as well go to buy the 40GB for $100 less (I know the difference between the 80GB and 40GB units, but I don’t think it worths that much to me. Also I don’t want to return or exchange the movies…)
Eventually it’s our turn to pick. We picked Pirates 2 but it rang up $37.xx. But an employee found more copies from the back and they rang less than $30 (so we could get it free). We got the last copy of Pixar short films and the lady two spots after us wanted that too. No problem, they also found more from the back. The movies we got are:

Terminator 2 魔鬼終結者二（老婆強烈建議老公把這片拿去退）
Fifth Element 第五元素（老婆同樣強烈建議把這片拿去退）
老婆註：我超想要300！！！！！
Don’t really want the last two because we’ve seen these too many times, but they are OK. Also a little regret on DH 2 because we knew eventually we’ll buy all 4 die hards and the box set is cheaper than if you buy 4 separately. But overall we were satisfied. The employees there were very friendly and professional, and they organized it well to avoid any chaos.
